This week, the Alliance for Socially Engaged Arts launches. In this blog, we highlight how socially engaged arts are driving social change across Europe, and how our alliance aims to accelerate and amplify that impact.
The Alliance for Socially Engaged Arts, created today, is a new European philanthropic initiative that will promote the empowerment, collaboration and visibility of community-based artistic practices with a social impact in Europe.
Eleven leading European foundations, including the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation and the ”la Caixa” Foundation, are creating the Alliance for Socially Engaged Arts, a pioneering programme to support arts committed to social change and citizen participation across Europe.
