Alliance for Socially Engaged Arts Selected for the UN Live’s Top 10 Culture for Impact

We are deeply humbled and proud to share that the Alliance for Socially Engaged Arts has been selected as one of the Top 10 initiatives on the Culture for Impact 2025, curated by the Museum for the United Nations – UN Live.

This annual recognition celebrates cultural initiatives that harness the power of arts and culture to drive positive change, connecting artistic expression and creativity with action on some of the most pressing challenges of our time.

For us, this recognition is deeply meaningful. It affirms the vital role that socially engaged practices play in fostering democracy, social cohesion, and community empowerment. Being included in this list is not just an acknowledgment of our work, it’s a spotlight on the collective efforts of practitioners across the field who use creativity as a force for transformation to build democratic, inclusive, and resilient societies.

We’re honoured to be part of this global conversation alongside other inspiring initiatives reminding us of the boundless possibilities that can be unleashed when art meets social purpose.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Museum for United Nations for championing the role of culture in shaping a better future, and to our partners and Fellows whose vision, trust, and collaboration make this work possible.
