Our Annual Report for 2025

A beginning of a shared European network for socially engaged arts

2025 marked the launch of the Alliance for Socially Engaged Arts, bringing together artists, practitioners, foundations, and partners who believe in the power of socially engaged arts to strengthen communities and imagine new possibilities for Europe.

Guided by our mission to connect, create, and drive change, the Alliance exists to elevate leaders and organisations in the field, strengthen collaboration, and help secure the recognition and support socially engaged arts deserve.

Our inaugural Annual Report reflects on the first steps of that journey. It shares the milestones, activities, and learnings from our first year as we began building connections across the field and laying the foundations for a growing ecosystem supporting socially engaged arts.

Our first Annual Report reflects on a landmark year of connecting leaders and elevating socially engaged arts across Europe. Discover how we’re laying the foundations to drive change and secure the recognition the field deserves.
